Artist's Comments
I made this picture way back in 2006, as a memory for my pet dog Yuki who died. It was a really sad part of my life. Even if he only stayed with us for less than a year, it was the first time that I thoroughly fell in love with a dog. I think I wasn't able to stop crying for 3 days when he died.
Even now I miss him. =^__^= But I'm sure he's happy in doggy heaven. The real title of this picture is "Yuki-kun to boku", or Yuki and I. I took a photo of this watercolor painting because it was really big (13X18) and wouldn't fit in a scanner. The resolution is not that good. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
